Our dental assistant and new patient coordinator April traveled to Belize Central America for Spring Break 2007 bringing humanitarian and spiritual aid to this third world nation. Capitol Dental was able to reach beyond Boise by donating tooth brushes, toothpaste and dental hygiene instructions to these children and adults who otherwise would go without. April traveled to several cities working out of churches, schools and orphanages. "I gave over 600 children tooth brushes, and taught them proper dental care in the seven days I worked in Belize," says April, "Some children remembered me and said they still were using the toothbrushes I had brought for them last year. They were so excited to get something so simple and their smiles were priceless. I hope they can keep on smiling, and show those beautiful teeth!"
